​Level 3 Childcare Practitioners At Latton Bush Setting
Full Time (40 hours over 5 days) Part Time (24/26 hours over 3 days)
Starting March 2026


Working Pattern: 8/9 hour shifts between the hours of 8am - 6pm, Monday - Friday, all year round. We are currently unable to offer any Term Time only or school hour positions. 


Home from Home Latton Bush are currently recruiting for passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our ever growing team at our new setting. Since opening in March 2025 we have expanded and have all 3 rooms open in our nursery and want to be able to support more families by providing additional childcare spaces.
If you enjoy pretend play, endless cups of “tea,” reading books upside down, speaking fluent dinosaur, and celebrating every small step. If you can tune into non-verbal cues, adapt to individual needs, support communication and language in all its forms, and offer big, reassuring hugs when needed --
then you may be just the person to support children as they learn, connect, and find their voice.

Job Description

Kids Club Leader and Practitioners
15/30 hours per week

Must be able to work Monday - Friday, 3pm - 6pm during term time, various shifts between 7.30am - 6pm during school holidays at our Kids Club at Fawbert and Barnard Primary School.  

Your role includes looking after children who are staying after school or joining us in the school holidays, ensuring that they are relaxed and happy and engaging in activities suitable for their 'down time'. Carry out activities with the children, provide activities/resources that meet their interests and promote positive interactions, support meal/snack times, listen to children read and support with homework, work as part of a team, being proactive, collaborative, energetic, happy, creative and friendly. 

Must hold a Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent for the Kids Club Leader Role.

Childcare options are available for successful applicants if required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To promote a fun, high quality environment for the children aged from babies to pre-school. 
  • Ensure that at all times the Welfare and Learning development requirements are met. 
  • Work in partnership with parents and carers.
  • Undertake a shared responsibility for health and safety throughout the nursery.
  • Ensure the general cleanliness of the children at all times.
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Be fully aware of all emergency and security procedures relating to the nursery.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by management.
