Kangaroo's Room
The Kangaroos room is our 2-3 years room.
In Kangaroos we can provide care for 20 children per day, with a ratio of 1 staff member to 5 children and will often work on a lower ratio where possible to ensure we are able to provide over and above support for all children.
We provide children with a diverse range of activities based around the children’s interests and needs and ensure that these are differentiated to support both our toddlers and pre-school children meet the milestones for their age and stage of development. We tailor the activities to help ensure that we are supporting the 2-3 year olds with their growing independence, emergent literacy skills and their growing communication and social skills.
Each child will have their own key person, it's very important for the children to feel safe and secure so building a bond with their key person is very important!
Every day in Kangaroos is fun and exciting, we have many different learning opportunities for the children to engage in and explore.
