This morning we celebrated our children that are leaving us to start school in September.
We were so glad that we were able to hold 2 small graduation ceremonies for all the children ensuring that we kept everyone safe.
Some of the children have been with us since they were babies and some children have joined us more recently but all children and their families are and always will be part of our Home from Home Family.
We will miss all the children but wish them the best of luck in the next stage of their adventure at big school!
Huge congratulations go to 5 of our team who over the past week have achieved great GCSE and A-Level results.
Well Done Emily, Aimee, Holly, Sidnee and Albie, We are all very proud of your amazing achievements!
We are looking for Level 2 and 3 Qualified Early Years Practitioners to join our expanding Nursery. Details attached below!

Your Home from Home family are very proud of you!
On the 12th April we officially opened our new building which is now our preschool/after school care. This building has provided us with a garden space that all the children in both buildings can use.
We also opened our new Tigers room on the 12th April, which is home to an additional preschool room.
All of our rooms have recently had a refresh and move around and we wanted to share our exciting new changes with you all!
We would like to say a huge Congratulations to Tracy and Shelley for officially becoming Qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioners!
We know it was a lot of hard work but all of your Home from Home family are proud of you!
This week is Children’s Mental Health Week. With everything that is currently still happening in the world it is more important than ever before to ensure we are supporting our children and their mental health and well-being.
Parents and carers play an important role in their child’s mental health. This #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek help your child to explore the different ways they can express their thoughts, feelings and ideas.
Throughout the week the children will be discussing emotions and what makes them feel happy/sad/angry/worried etc, and how they can express their feelings.
For ideas on how to support children’s mental health please visit the following website: www.childrensmentalhealthweek.org.uk
We would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!
This year has been a year like no other and we would like to thank all our families that have continued to support Home from Home Childcarers throughout the year.
We hope you all have a lovely Christmas and we look forward to a better year in 2021!
Lots of love Linda, Zoe and the Home from Home team
